We love crafting and we hate waste! We source gorgeous yarns made from factory surplus that would otherwise be incinerated or go to landfill. We stock a wide range of colours. The nature of T-shirt yarn is that it is literally made from offcuts and remnants from the production of T-Shirts, so each batch may vary a little in colour. The cotton macrame is made from left-overs from the cotton industry, cleverly blended and re-spun to match existing colours so there are no additional dyes added. And the gorgeous shiny eucalyptus Tencel is made from left-over bits of eucalyptus grown in Europe for the paper industry. We are based in Cumbria, UK, and 10% of our profits go to our Community Interest Company, Buy Land Plant Trees. We buy agriculturally poor land and plant A LOT of trees. We also dig ponds, put up bird and bat boxes, plant wildflowers, and basically do what we can to help nature recover. Read their story
