About Vintage Watercolors

Hi! I'm Tyra (She/They) and this is my eco-friendly art shop! I started this path in handmade art supplies in 2017 after realizing too many filler ingredients and the lack of transparency with the process. I started selling in late 2018 at a small town Art & Craft Show in Minneapolis, Kansas. After talking with many artists and realizing there was a need for shared knowledge and access to Eco-Art Supplies, I officially opened Vintage Watercolors in 2019. Now I focus on creating alternative earth-friendly art supplies, obtaining vetted information and sharing that knowledge with all artists so they can be self-sustainable. I implement zero waste policies in-shop, use recycled and recyclable packaging, and I DON'T gatekeep the ingredients or the process! I teach how to paint with watercolors online through Twitch and at my local Botanical gardens, you can find me at the local farm and art market in downtown Wichita, KS almost every Saturday.
