Founded in 2005 by designers Isabel Vaz and Nuno Dias, PUKACA is more than just a paper goods company. It's a passion project born from Isabel's love for drawing small creatures and Nuno's talent for bringing them to life. Together, they strive to infuse joy and happiness into every creation. Today, PUKACA is committed to designing and manufacturing unique paper toys and products with children in mind. In a world increasingly burdened by plastics, especially in our oceans, we believe it's our duty to make a difference. That's why we've completely revamped our product range to be 100% plastic-free. We're proud to say that our paper toys are crafted from 100% recycled paper sourced from certified FSC suppliers. This paper carries Blue Angel certification, EU Ecolabel, and is REACH Compliant, ensuring it's free from heavy metals and compliant with EU's Toy Safety norm EN 71-3. Even our packaging is eco-friendly, with all paper toys packed in 100% recycled paper envelopes. Every step of our production process, from design to assembly, takes place in our facilities in Seixal, Portugal.
