Hello, I am Mégane Hébert, Owner and founder of MĀLAMA BEBE. The adventure began a little over five years ago in our small three-room apartment. When I gave birth to my first daughter, I looked for a long time for a baby carrier that suited my needs: simple, comfortable and stylish. After buying many baby carriers, I was still unsatisfied. I was looking for the perfect baby carrier. Unable to find the rare pearl, I decided to create it myself. I spent hours, weeks and months making what would become the most comfortable baby carrier on the market. Juggling college and mom's reality, I've lost count of the number of days and nights I've been kneeling on the living room floor of our tiny apartment drawing patterns, cutting fabrics and doing trial and error. We literally lived surrounded by my thousand and one fabrics, my sewing machine, my ironing board, my sewing tools, my school books, name it! It took me three years to finally design the perfect baby carrier. The one that totally corresponded to the mission I had given myself. This baby carrier means much more than just an object for our family… it is a way that will have allowed us to connect on another level with our babies. It offers comfort and security to babies, then it allows a pleasant freedom to parents. It has become a daily must here!
