Tinker Watches started with a question: How can we make a watch that is clean and timeless without being too serious, thoughtfully-detailed without overt branding, honestly-priced and well-constructed, without unnecessary features or superfluous detailing? As a team of mechanical engineers and designers, we then 3D modeled our idea and began sourcing: We scoured tanneries from the U.S. to Australia, factories in China that machine the highest-grade steel, and tested movements from Japan to Switzerland.
