About Jadysbel’s Art

I am Jadysbel De Jesús Bobonis, I am a visual artist born and raised in Puerto Rico. I lived in the Puerto Rico 24 years. I studied Visual Arts in la Escuela de Bellas Artes De Carolina from 2006-2010 and then I went to University of Puerto Rico of Rio Piedras from 2011-2017, where I completed my Bachelors degree, my first concentration is in Business Administration: Accounting and my second concentration is in Visual Arts: Painting. I use my art as my diary by using color, movement, and shapes to deposit in my canvas my feelings and visions as these helps me, feel free, ground myself and decompress from life’s stresses. The main themes in my art are different depictions of types love and themes of the body, soul and spirit. When my audience look at my art, I want them to take a break from their day-to-day and lose themselves in the colors, shapes and movement of my art.
