About Artsy Arborist

I am an ISA certified arborist, science illustrator, and zoology enthusiast, with a background of working in parks with people, animals, and nature, eager to understand and illustrate the ‘how’s’ and ‘why’s’ of the world around us. My mission is to use my skills and abilities to better communicate, educate, and inspire people about the plants and animals that also inhabit this planet. I want to help the science community share their passions that make their eyes light up. I want to take complicated concepts and find the perfect way to illustrate the point and you can see that concept click. These passions and joys in the world are what makes up life. When I’m not at the drawing board, I’m probably skydiving, climbing trees, or deep diving a niche question that got the best of me. Read their story
