About Sleeping Bear Candle Company

Sleeping Bear Candle Company was born out of a love for candles and as a way to ease anxiety. I have struggled with anxiety for my entire life and candles were always a way to help ease that. Sleeping Bear started as a hobby and quickly grew into a successful business as word spread around Los Angeles. I've worked with companies like Anhueser-Busch and Game Show Network for marketing and holiday gifts. Now located in Los Angeles, I grew up in Michigan and spent many summers at the Sleeping Bear Sand Dunes. I have great memories there with my family so it was only natural that my candles, which bring me so much joy, reflect that same joy in our name and outlook.Read their story
