HOW IT ALL STARTED In 2012, Salzburg-born Sissi Vogler took a professional break and travelled through Southeast Asia. The colourful fish food and cement bags were a constant companion on her journey. Inspired by this, she finally came up with the brilliant idea: the bags were simply too beautiful to be disposed of. So why not just make bags and other accessories out of the durable material? Done said. Back in Austria, Sissi got to work and developed the first upcycling collections CEMENT and FISH, which were launched in 2013. There is now also the FLAGS collection made of used flag material and a SCHUH collection with stylish espadrilles made of cotton scrape. STYLE AND ETHICS ARE NO CONTRADICTION! We want to play a part in changing the awareness of the typical mass consumer. In the future, everyone should ask themselves WHERE a product comes from and WHO made it. Every REFISHED label therefore not only shows the location and material of the product, but everyone who signs their manufactured product with their name. In our PEOPLE area, we also introduce you to all participants in greater detail.
