What is Sabado? it means Saturday and on Saturday we shop have a party, and hopefully a day off. "Sabado" means all this! “As a child of the plantation era, the lessons I have learned are still with me to this day. My approach is consistent; quality of art (product), research (accuracy of information), and consulting with Kupua, (experts in the field.) More recently artist Sabado’s passion has been to combine his love and devotion to his home island; Molokai. As an artist, my collection is over one thousand pieces of art in many genres. Ocean, island, and hula are many of my themes. This has inspired us to branch out and transfer these images to carpets as well as tableware to grace your Hawaiian table. These last few years have dramatically changed our habits. I believe we will be dining more at home, and entertaining as well. Small intimate dinner parties will be the norm (like our parents had.) Setting a beautiful table will show your guest your appreciation of them. The priority for us is that the tableware, runner, placemats, and napkins are made from linen and poly cotton and are lined as well for that exclusive look, used daily, and totally washable. We have a carpet line eleven designs, based on the same theory creating that island ambiance that is authentic, and true to the Hawaiian Culture.
