About Nia Ballerina

Nia Ballerina is a UK based company who first launched a range of music boxes with a black ballerina in 2016 following the frustration of not being able to find music boxes that resembled the founder’s own daughter anywhere in the world! Having been deeply disheartened that ballerinas from diverse backgrounds were, and still are hugely underrepresented within the industry, the founder made the decision to create Nia Ballerina as she felt it was important that all little girls were able to see themselves as a ballerina. Nia Ballerina currently has two amazing music box designs, which make the perfect keepsake gift for any little ballerina.
