About Defense Soap

Defense Soap was created by Guy Sako, a youth wrestling coach for 30 years. Guy created Defense Soap because many of his athletes were getting skin infections through improper hygiene and skin care products. He researched what was available in the market and saw that many products contained harsh chemicals, so he started to look for a more natural solution. After seeing a void in the market, he decided to try to develop something himself. He discovered the natural antimicrobial properties of tea tree and eucalyptus essential oils and made a test batch to give to his wrestlers. It worked and Guy saw a huge drop in the amount of infections that had previously plagued his wrestlers. Guy originally created his soap out of need for his wrestlers but the demand from other athletes and those with skin conditions continued to grow. He founded Defense Soap in 2005 and through the enormous support of people he has helped, hundreds of thousands of customers and their families now use Defense products.
