About Valen & Jette

Valen & Jette's designer, Courtney Hartwell graduated from Rhode Island School of Design in 2005 with a Bachelor's in Interior Architecture and worked under Gerard Yosca and more recently with mass market white label brands. From her educational background in re-designing pre-existing structures to her love of flea market finds and sustainable practices in her personal life, it was only natural for her to extend that sensibility to her own collection. She finds creative freedom in repurposing vintage pieces to create relevant modern jewelry with nod to fashion history. Read their story
