The company's founder, Life Schneider, is a lawyer, certified professional aromatherapist, and mom with over a decade of experience in the skincare industry. Yes, her real name is Life and yes, her parents were hippies :) She was born in a commune in Los Angeles in the mid-'70s and was raised between L.A. and Hawaii. Wellness, mindfulness, and a more holistic approach to health and living is in her DNA. When her son was only 18 months old he developed severe eczema. Drawing on her previous experience in the skincare industry and her voracious love of research, she committed herself to finding gentler and safer eczema remedies for her son. Not long into her journey, she knew she needed to start another skincare company. She set out to create a brand that would not just call itself “clean beauty,” but would truly exemplify that ethos to its core. Hence, Vegan Mia Organics was born. Read their story
