The origin of the company dates back to the 19th century, starting from a family bakery and pastry business. In the 1950s, a son of the founder, Mr. Alejandro García-Miguel Laguna and his wife Trinidad Castillo Gómez-Carreño, following the family tradition, pastry, opened a small shop where they sell their own sweets. From the very first years of its existence, DULCIMAN offered a delicious variety of products, which would gradually reach the recognition of the inhabitants of Madridejos and the surrounding towns. In 1993, Alejandro's sons founded the factory, dedicating themselves to the production of typical Manchego sweets. DULCIMAN makes its products based on traditional recipes from the Madridejos environment compiled in a family cookbook. At present, DULCIMAN's most important activity is the elaboration of the Classic Cut Artisan Fried Donut, a recipe given to Trinidad by “La Tía Venera”, cook at the convent of Las Clarisas in Madridejos. Most of DULCIMAN's Fried Donut production is marketed through different distribution brands that have relied on the quality and guarantee offered by DULCIMAN.
