Our journey began not in a lab but through the deeply personal story of a beloved dog named Taz. At just four years old, Taz faced a grim prognosis with an aggressive nasal tumor. In search of hope, Chris discovered Turkey Tail mushrooms, known for cancer-fighting properties. Skeptical but determined, Chris introduced this natural remedy, which remarkably shrank the tumor and granted Taz three joyful extra years of life. Inspired by Taz’s transformation, Chris—a dedicated runner and hiker—began exploring medicinal mushrooms for personal wellness, experiencing profound mental clarity and physical recovery. Joined by a founding member with a Ph.D. in molecular medicine, our mission became clear: to harness medicinal mushrooms backed by rigorous science, bringing transparency and education to the wellness community.
