About Early's Honey Stand

In 1925 , Early's was just a simple roadside honey stand under a big shade tree on US HWY 31 in Spring Hill,TN. Nestled in the beautiful rolling hills, we sold our rich golden honey during the summer. In the cold winter months, we would sell our mouth waterin' country smoked meats. At that time US Hwy 31 was the main road- the only one worth taking really - From Chicago to Florida. And lots of people began stopping here to buy honey on their trip. That's how folks all over the country go to know Early's. As our business grew, we added other home canned items and country fixins to our tasty line of products. The folks who bought them took them home to family and friends. It didn't take long for our reputation to spread far and wide as purveyors of the tastiest, authentic country foods around. Eventually a new interstate highway was built and routed most of the over the counter customers away from us. But that didn't stop them from calling or writing to place an order. Today, Early's is the oldest mail order house in the south, and the oldest retailer in Williamson County. USDA meats, smoked and cured the old-fashioned way with genuine green hickory wood, salt , sugar and natural spices. Plus, we add lots of "know-how" and generations of experience. It takes a lot of time and skilled craftsmen to preserve this old way of doing things, but we want to keep our product the high quality that it has always been! Read their story
