At The Chai Bar, we endeavor to bring to the American lifestyle this wonderful experience called Chai in its most authentic form. Our curated blends are handcrafted in small batches. Our tea leaves are sourced from two farms, one of which is a family-owned and operated tea farm in India, and the green tea comes straight from the foothills of the Himalayas. The tea is then hand-blended with botanicals, herbs and spices, We have taken inspiration from every corner of India to create an ensemble of distinct drinks, making the traditional, innovative. The Chai is then packed in beautifully designed tins or brown paper bags featuring Indian traditional tribal art. Our blends are named in the ancient language of Sanskrit and represent our cultural identity. Madura is the Founder, Cook, Photographer and Tea Taster behind The Chai Bar. A self-declared ‘chai connoisseur' fuelled by a passion to bring to America the true experience of Chai & eager to incorporate into her brand the traditional flavors of Chai from India while staying in tune with the latest demand in U.S.A. Her hunger (or in this case thirst) for knowledge and determination to turn information into action has contributed to the most recent launch of our Chai Blends and Flavoured Sugars.
