About Hitton

Farmers and soap makers, we manufacture natural and ecological skincare soaps and cosmetics designed for the most delicate skins and made mostly from ingredients produced on our land. Our artisanal soap factory is located in the heart of our farm on a 77-hectare property in the Gers in Occitania. We have been engaged in organic farming with Ecocert since 2011, labeled Nature et Progrès and winners of the Slow Cosmetics mention. We raise about thirty donkeys from the Pyrenees in semi-freedom. With a dozen births each year, we are one of the major players in the safeguarding of this local breed threatened with extinction (National Animal Agrobiodiversity Award 2018). We transform their precious milk into soaps and cosmetics whose quality and high percentage of donkey milk (30 to 40%) distinguish us on the national market. We grow aromatic plants directly on the property. In our distillery, located 5 minutes from the fields, we transform them into essential oils and floral waters. This innovative and atypical discovery farm already receives more than 6,000 visitors per year for educational and tourist visits. The public, sensitive to the animal cause, the protection of the environment and in search of healthy and ethical cosmetics was not mistaken and elected us “Favorite Farm of the French 2021”.
