About Schermer Pecans

It's a family tradition! While Schermer Pecans was founded in 1946, pecan farming has been a source of pride for our family for over a hundred years. We are 5th generation Georgia pecan growers and our pecans are harvested from orchards that have been in our family for over 115 years. Our pecans are always hand selected and fresh shelled. There is nothing better than watching pecans cooked to perfection in circa 1940s copper cauldrons. Using time-tested techniques, our pecans are roasted with just a hint of salt before being candied and cooked to sight in copper cauldrons or enrobed in chocolate or hand-pulled caramel.
