About Shell We Sea Designs

Shell We Sea Designs started as a happy hobby many years ago with my love of the beach and stunning seashells. Creating different items for my home or as gifts gave me such pleasure and was appreciated for the individual designs. After some life changes, From the loving support from friends and family, I decided to begin doing what I love doing..... Creating Coastal Decor' items that were both unique, original and high quality and using the most beautiful natural materials provided by Mother Nature! I get commissioned to do several custom mirrors a year for people all around the world in many styles and sizes. I have children and grandchildren, I care about our environment and the sustainability of the marine life. Local villagers collect the shells and use the meat inside to feed their families. The empty shell is considered a by-product and would otherwise be wasted, however, now is sold once the meat is extracted for a profit! I love that my business helps support the livelihood of these villagers by using whole sellers that purchase our shells directly from them. The starfish are also a farmed product and not considered "Protected or Endangered". I do not purchase or provide any imported or endangered or protected species. Read their story
