Bouga Cacao is an organic and fair trade chocolate factory. Here we offer you our chocolate bars, tasting boxes and cocoa beans and butter. What is important in our approach is the commercial relations with our suppliers and partners in Ecuador. People who grow cocoa often lead a precarious life. But they are the basis of the quality of our chocolate. We work directly with our producers, avoiding intermediaries, so we can certify that the cocoa remuneration is paid to them fairly. Through this approach, we support sustainable development in Ecuador, since the processing of beans is done locally, most of the added value thus generated allows the creation of skilled jobs in the country. Our chocolates resulting from this process contain only cocoa and “rapadura” (unrefined and complete cane sugar), without the addition of lecithin and other fats, not even cocoa butter.Read their story
