About High Spirits Flutes

Found by Odell Borg in Solana Beach, California in 1990 High Spirits Flutes have been handcrafting wood flutes in Arizona for over 30-years. Our woodshop has been located in the mountain town of Patagonia, Arizona since the mid-1990s, and our flutes are inspired by and designed in reflection of the majestic, unique natural beauty of the Sonoran Desert and the Sky Islands of southern Arizona that surround us. Each flute is constructed with our special uni-body design, crafted from a single piece of wood. The tolerances on each flute are precise and measurable to thousandths of an inch. After the hole pattern and air passages are created each flute is hand sanded, burnished, and then sealed with several coats of our specially formulated non-toxic oil. Our accurate musical tuning and high-quality flute construction, lead many professional musicians and expert flute players choose High Spirits Flutes for recording and performing.
