I was taught to knit one summer when I was 8 and declared to my mother "I'm bored!" never thinking I would pick it back up as an adult and become addicted! I'm very picky about the feel of my yarn. Because I have sensitive skin, I only choose the softest skeins! Every scarf should feel cozy and luxurious, and yet still be easy to care for. So yes, I am that person in the yarn store, petting all the skeins. It is a tough job, but someone has to do it!
