About Ruby Dragonfly Candles

Ruby Dragonfly Candles' story started with a passion for almost any and all scents. The shop owner: Tonya, couldn't walk past any candle aisle in any store without stopping to check out the newest scent, it became a "no-brainer" that one day she would end up opening her shop, in her plans, however, Tonya wanted to ensure that the ingredients in her handcrafted candles were made from only pure and non-toxic materials. When she envisioned her candle creations being in the homes of her fellow candle lovers, she wanted to be sure they were enjoying the safest candles possible, from that idea she researched and found many different types of wax and essential oils and she chose to only partner with suppliers who shared her vision and whom she would feel confident having in her own home. As a Cancer survivor, it was important to her that the essential oils and other ingredients were not listed in California Proposition 65 list; and all of the candles her company makes are produced with pure Apricot/Coconut wax and recently added premium Beeswax. All of the scents that go into every candle are backed by Clean Science. All dyes are non-toxic, and each wick is pure organic 100% cotton and metal free. Bamboo wicks are on the horizon.
