KAQCHI is a fair trade, LGBTQ+ women-owned brand dedicated to empowering Indigenous Mayan women through beautifully handcrafted beaded accessories & boho apparel. Named after the ancient Mayan language Kaqchikel (pronounced *ka-CHEE-kel*), every bracelet, anklet, lanyard, pouch, and accessory is meticulously handcrafted in Guatemala using vibrant glass seed beads and premium-quality materials. Each piece celebrates the artistry and cultural heritage of traditional Mayan beadwork while creating sustainable economic opportunities for the women who make them. Founded by Kristie and Kim, KAQCHI began with a deep appreciation for the skill and craftsmanship of Mayan artisans. Today, we proudly partner with more than 80 Indigenous artisan families, sourcing materials locally in Guatemala to help strengthen artisan communities and support long-term, fair trade employment. Based in Delray Beach, Florida, KAQCHI has been honored to serve more than 10,000 customers since 2019 and has earned over 1,500 five-star reviews.
