About Sarah Bloom Studio

Sarah Bloom Studio is a Midwest based multidisciplinary design studio specializing in visual design and letterpress printing. With a background in illustration and graphic design, I fell into letterpress printing after searching for ways to incorporate more hands-on techniques into my design practice. After printing with a small table top press and renting space in a community print shop, I had the opportunity to buy my own full-sized press in the spring of 2021, launching my passion project into a full time endeavor. Each product from Sarah Bloom Studio is printed on my 120 year old platen press named Betty, with each piece of paper being hand-fed one at a time; a true labor of love. I enjoy combining modern typography design with centuries-old printing techniques to create truly unique stationery items. My biggest goal is to create a finished product that people are excited to receive.Read their story
