Welcome! We're not a huge company. Just a small family startup crazy enough to think traditional handles that have been around thousands of years could be better. Momnt Mugs started as a curiosity project during COVID lockdowns. We used a cheap 3d printer to make some prototypes, and that’s when we realized how counterbalance style handles like this have real advantages over traditional handles. After making more prototypes to hone in the design, we ambitiously launched a Kickstarter campaign that failed...spectacularly. But we knew how much better the handle felt, so we decided to invest our savings anyways to launch the first batch of Momnt Mugs. Since then we have sent mugs to thousands of happy customers and had over 25 million organic social media views. And the comments sections are always strangely polarizing, often being a mix between “you invented a problem for a solution” versus “this is a really smart design tweak that can benefit many people.” What drives us now has been hearing from many people with arthritis, shaky grips, or limb difference who said our handle is much easier and more comfortable to hold than traditional handles. Our goal is to continue improving and to make the World’s Most Comfortable Mugs, including focusing on accessibility so even more people can sip their morning coffee in comfort. Cheers!
