About Cassidy Labs

Cassidy House was founded in 2014 by Scott Cassidy to create toys, books, crafts and objects of coolness for all ages. Our origins trace back 3.5 billion years, when the original Cassidy’s - then nothing more than single-celled organisms - began their journey to becoming bipedal book, gift, and toy makers. It was a long journey , there were some twists, turns, and setbacks along the way. There were some close calls even: meteors, ice ages, conquering armies, plagues and disease, to list a few. But the early Cassidy House ancestors, in their various evolutionary forms (it wasn’t always pretty), were able to beat the odds and continue evolving towards their final form: hairless bipedal hominins working together and eventually calling themselves “Cassidy Labs”. Of course, even after evolving into humans, this group had to be born and then had to survive childhood and -- by some miracle, middle school -- to reach their true final form: semi-functioning human adults. It wasn’t until the Summer of 2018 that the Cassidys finally got around to filing their paperwork, formally creating Cassidy Labs.
