About Rutabaga Bodega
Rutabaga Bodega is a playful lineup of vegetable-celebrities that are inspired by my work as a vegetable farmer. In 2017 my wife Annie and I started a small diversified farm in New Orleans called River Queen Greens, and I have been farming full-time since 2012. What began in the early days as a fun and challenging way to entertain ourselves for hours in the field has since evolved into an expanding hobby that (hopefully!) brings levity, joy, and a few chuckles to our greater community. Rutabaga Bodega got its official start in 2013 when our farm featured vegetable celebrities in our weekly news zine. From there we graduated to an official art show at our local ice cream shop, and now offer our signature celebs on super soft tees, baby onesies, 100% organic tea towels, and postcards. We hope you enjoy perusing our lineup of characters and we thank you for considering the Rutabaga Bodega.
