Where Dreams Meet Sugar (2015-2022) Pure Fluff was born in Charleston in 2015 as the whimsical dream of our founder, Arielle Stratton. Arielle had a simple but powerful vision: cotton candy could be more than a carnival treat. It could be gourmet, guilt-free, and spun with joy. She built Pure Fluff into a beloved favorite, recognized for its unforgettable nostalgia and unique, clean flavors. When the pandemic challenged the events industry, and Arielle faced her own health journey after with a breast cancer diagnosis in 2020, her creative spirit never dimmed. The brand's magic waited patiently for revival. A New Chapter of Joy (2022-Present) In the fall of 2022, Heather Pangburn joined Arielle, helping to breathe new life into the brand, reopening the online store, and refreshing the packaged product line. With over 15 years in Charleston's thriving hospitality, events, and restaurant industry, Heather was immediately drawn to Pure Fluff's authentic magic—a brand that created experiences and transported people back to their happiest memories. In April 2025, Heather and her partner officially took the reins. This step allowed Arielle to focus on her health and future creative spirit while ensuring her beloved PFCo lived on. Today, our team is proud to carry forward Arielle's dream. We believe in spreading joy and crafting flavors with care, and we are dedicated to expanding Pure Fluff Co’s reach to the community spirit that made it a favorite from the start.Read their story
