From sourcing fabrics with integrity, to creating baths of natural dyes—our products help eliminate toxic waste; while creating timeless, aesthetically pleasing wearable art to help embrace your natural self. Melanie Hasan is a self-taught designer, textile artist and founder of Modest Transitions. After giving birth to her son, Melanie found a meditative connection with design and textiles. Dedicating her medium through natural dyeing and sustainability in order to lessen environmental impact. While striving to bridge the gap between modesty and fashion, she is inspired by inclusion and natural beauty to create one-of-a-kind garments to empower women and challenge beauty norms.
