About Mahnal Jewelry
Mahnal is a collection of brass heirloom jewelry inspiring the romance of life. From silhouettes in nature, the repetition of lines in architecture, or how light plays against texture. Each piece is a study on natural forms and elements that we find most meditative to inspire contemplation. Brass pays homage, in its beautiful yellow aged tone, to the adornments of antiquity reimagined for the modern times. The metal oxidizes and develops a patina with time as it’s worn that takes on an almost ‘living’ finish. The durability of brass further echoes its inherent ability to transcend time. Each piece is named in Arabic after an aspirational characteristic or word of inspiration. Meant to be collected as heirloom pieces evolving in meaning with each season of life. With their Arabic naming and organic imperfections, each piece creates a pathway towards embracing the beauty and romance of a slower, more intentional life.
