About Donata Delano Art

Donata Delano Art is a Fine Art Studio set out to create without any rules. What we love about watercolour and oil paint translates into each brush stroke. Watercolour is mischievous but in a somewhat controlled way. It's firmly confined by wet and dry edges, but within this boundary, it is playful and surprising. The combination of these two mediums on cotton paper, the softness and gradual colour value of watercolour, and its contrast against a stark and somewhat dramatic oil brush stroke is a notable constant in all our pieces. That is the underlying theme in all our landscape pieces. We aspire to create art that is playful and serene, offering some stillness when we need it most.
