About Chipizh

Created in 2021, Chipizh have the ambition to provide an alternative to industrial chips. Our desire is to create a unit for the production of artisanal chips by reconnecting with the methods and know-how of our grandmothers. Our manufacturing site is located in the middle of the salt marshes, in the city of Guérande in Loire Atlantique. Our chips are made in an artisanal way, in Guérande. It is a traditional cooking in a cauldron, nothing to do with industrial chips, they are not blanched before cooking, which ensures a true potato taste. So they don't need to be over-salted like chips that can be found in supermarkets and customers like it a lot. They are generous, I use the largest size of potatoes and very crispy. I work with one and only one producer with whom I have created a close relationship.Read their story
