Ross started painting cards when at university as he was too lazy to buy them from the shops. After realising that these were actually quite good he built a website in 2017 and started printing! It took a while for things to catch on and has grown year on year with more designs arriving all the time. RossJDesigns decided to enter the wholesale market in 2024 and joined Faire in 2025. Many of the card designs are inspired by everyday life, or just cute animals with fun captions. Ross has a passion for making people smile and laugh so what better way to do this than sending a card with a cute design and a nice note. The impact we have on the environment is a massive concern for Ross and as such he has committed to donating 10% of all profits to planting trees and sustainable projects through the carbon offsetting company Ecolgi. In addition to this, all card used is 100% recycled card, as are the kraft envelopes, and no plastic is used in the card packaging. Some large orders may require plastic in the packaging but this is being limited as much as possible.
