About Lucy Lux Candle Company

Hello! My name is Molly, and I’m the owner of Lucy Lux Candle Company! I am a candle maker based in Sydney, Nova Scotia. I hand pour soy wax products from candles to melts, but what my brand is best known for is my paint can candles. My candles are meant to be a form of self-care, as well as decor in your space. I specifically choose feel-good, yummy and comfy scents for my candles, so when they are lit you are instantly transported away from all your troubles! (If only 😉) I started candle making in May of 2021, after leaving my job as a makeup artist & retail manager. I wanted to create a new path for myself that was relaxing, made me feel good, and gave me an outlet for my creative side. The name “Lucy” in Lucy Lux comes from my dog, who sadly passed away in January of 2021. I love having her attached to what I do every day, and having her memory with me in every phase of this business journey.Read their story
