About Hygge Coffee Company

IN THE BEGINNING, Hygge Coffee Company was founded by Andrew Squires and Brian May. Having roasted coffee as a hobby here in Missoula, they decided to take things to another level. To start a business. Thus, Hygge Coffee Co. was born. Over the years, life started to take its toll on the future of the company. Between family, kids, and other business responsibilities; the future of Hygge started to look like it was coming to an end. Then Anna and David Didier came into the picture. Our owner Anna is born and raised in Missoula, Montana. Unfortunately, in 2018 she lost her grandpa. He had worked hard his entire life and was generous enough to have left his grandkids with small inheritance. He meant the world to Anna, and what she did with the money was very important to her... ...It was around this time her husband David met Andrew Squires. David grew up working on his family farm in the Midwest, and has spent most of his life connected to agriculture in some capacity. When he learned about the potential that Hygge would be shutting down, he thought this could be a great opportunity. One, to get connected back to his agricultural roots; but more importantly, as a way to honor Anna's grandpa. As Hygge continues to grow and impact people's lives, we will forever know that it is all possible because of Jim. Read their story
