Hello, I'm Luiza, the founder of unClassic, I’ve had a lifetime affair with mushrooms.. an affair I discovered studying Biology in college. For me, the magic of life lived in between animals & plants, in the incredible convergence of these 2 kingdoms. Mushrooms are some of the most incomprehensible creatures out there… but they have the rarest configuration in food: to be one of the healthiest foods in the world (i.e carrots) but can taste better than fillets and nuggets ! What a privilege… So, unClassic started from my conviction that Specialty Mushrooms Nuggets & Fillets had to exist, I had to make mushrooms convenient enough to become ubiquitous… So after many years working in food, I built unClassic to spotlight mushrooms in ways you never thought possible.
