🛫 We're based in the UK – Orders to the USA will be sent DUTIES PAID. The fees and duties estimate at checkout won't apply to our US or UK customers. Bookishly was founded by Louise Verity in 2009, and our goal is to create an enjoyable and meaningful workplace with a proper work/life balance for our whole team. The aim is for it to be a place where people want to work, can earn a good wage, and as a result, focus on what is good for them. We work a 4-day week on full-time pay and have flexible hours, not just for parents, but for anyone who needs it. Our founder is passionate about entrepreneurship as activism. By running a business in a way that benefits the employees first, we can show other entrepreneurs that not only is it the right thing to do, but it also makes good business sense to treat people well! Our literary-inspired products focus on sharing the joy of books, allowing people to live their best bookish lives and feel connected to an important part of their identity. Our collection features words and quotes from classic literature along with playful sentiments that any reader will relate to.
