The wombi is really no ordinary sleeping bag and you're probably wondering how we came up with this idea. For the first time, we became aware of the special sleeping bag design in America. At the time, we had friends who had a baby that was only a few months old, which regularly robbed them of sleep. If it had already helped countless American parents, we thought it could also be the solution for our friends. After looking around popular German online shops for baby clothing, we were amazed to discover that there was no comparable sleeping bag anywhere in Germany to buy. So we commissioned a tailor to sew such a sleeping bag — our wombi prototype — as a gift for our friends. And what can we say, our friends loved it! This was the impetus for us to offer the sleeping bag in Germany and thus also to help many affected parents in this country.
