About Sanara

I created Sanara in my kitchen after living with Psoriasis since my teens. What began as crafting skincare remedies evolved into a journey of reconnecting with my mind, body, and spirit. Psoriasis scarred more than just my skin; it impacted my entire being. While formulating my own body care, I noticed the absence of Latin culture representation, its botanicals, and traditional knowledge—wisdom that emphasizes true wellness as healing the mind, body, and spirit. In 2021, at 39, I was diagnosed with Stage 0 Ductal Carcinoma In Situ. Trusting my intuition, I insisted on further tests, leading to a life-saving bilateral mastectomy. In December 2022, after finding another lump, I was diagnosed with Stage 2 Ductal Invasive Carcinoma. My continued survival underscores the power of listening to your body, trusting your intuition, and advocating for your well-being. Sanara's mission is to help you connect with your truest self, where healing becomes possible.
