About Hug and Kiss Designs Inc.

Nikki is a journalist and copywriter based outside of Vancouver, BC. She founded Hug + Kiss Designs Inc. on a whim back in 2007 after she realized how truly predictable greeting cards were! She decided to combine a sweet cartoon illustration with an unexpected sense of humour (involving lots of swear words/sarcasm/sass) and it turns out she had created the perfect combination that people were looking for! In the 16-years since it was founded, Nikki has had Hug + Kiss Designs cards in over 100 retail locations across Canada... and a few others abroad. All her cards are printed by a family-owned print shop, but then creased, cut and folded one at a time in the Hug + Kiss Designs office! (Meaning Nikki herself actually touches each and every card!)
