Our story began in Mino, Gifu, a region rich in high-quality clay and abundant water sources. Our Mino craftsmen use time-honored techniques to mold, glaze, and finish each piece by hand, ensuring each product is unique and of the highest quality. Since our founding in 1992 as BEE HOUSE JAPAN, we've grown and evolved, expanding our product lines and developing innovative new designs. Our products have been featured in prestigious retail stores, including Macy’s, Crate and Barrel, and Dillard’s. Over the years, we've launched iconic products like our Square Canisters in 1994, our Round Teapot featured in InStyle Magazine in 2000, and our Salt Box and Coffee Dripper lines introduced in 2001. Our Coffee Dripper became a sensation when picked up by Blue Bottle Coffee, helping propel the Third Wave of Coffee. In 2006, we changed our company and brand name to ZERO JAPAN, reflecting our commitment to innovation and desire to create timeless, modern, and relevant products.
