About JaBella Designs

After a whirlwind few years that involved juggling a very busy career in journalism and then becoming a mother in 2016, I was given the opportunity to slow down. I knew I wanted to continue expressing my creativity through some method, but I also wanted to make sure that any venture allowed flexibility and time for my family. I soon rekindled my love of refurbishing vintage items and creating new products for my own home. I realized that eye for design and ability to notice the small details – the same skills I used as a journalist and editor – could be used in providing products for others. My journey began on Etsy, a medium that allows artisans like me to draw beauty from imperfections and to grow our passion into something more. So, how does this relate to you?
