Barkly was founded after recognizing a common but often unspoken reality. Many women do not always feel safe walking alone, even when walking their dogs. Co-founded by Dr. Holly Jordan, DVM, Barkly combines veterinary expertise with purpose-driven design in its retractable dog leash with built-in personal safety alarm. Dr. Jordan observed firsthand how many clients carried separate personal safety alarms while walking their dogs at night.
