Makena is a Maui based contemporary swim label with a Brazilian heart. Founder Juliana Lomba brings together the itsy-bitsy Rio bikini of her native Brazil and the laid back island lifestyle of her adopted home in Hawaii to create her signature swim, surf and beach styles. The Makena collection, inspired by nature, big surf and endless summers, features flattering and functional silhouettes in vibrant colors and prints designed for life lived at its fullest. Our Swim and surf styles are complemented by casual separates for life before and after the beach. Our collections are designed to make women of all ages and sizes feel confident and comfortable, stand up to any wave, and most importantly, designed with the health of the planet and our oceans in mind.
