About Fian Arroyo Illustration

Fian Arroyo, has been creating award-winning illustrations for his clients, including Fortune-500 companies, in the advertising, editorial, toy & game and publishing markets for over 25 years. His past commercial illustration work has been recognized by award books such as The Society of Illustrators of New York and The Society of Illustrators of Los Angeles. More recently, his fantasy work has been included in the award books Spectrum The Best in Contemporary Fantastic Art and Infected By Art. Fian grew up traveling the world as a U.S. Army brat living in countries such as Japan, Panama, Puerto Rico and a handful of states. He graduated from Texas State University with a BFA in Commercial Art then moved to Miami, Florida where he began his freelance illustration career. In 2014, after relocating from Miami Beach to Asheville, North Carolina, Fian started creating his fantasy art for galleries, art shows alongside his commercial illustration work. During this time, he started selling his art and art merchandise through his website and Etsy. He currently resides in the Asheville, North Carolina area (Weaverville to be exact) where he is being held hostage by his wife, a Great Pyrenees named Skye and a mortgage.  Read their story
