About Hillside Botanicals

Hillside Botanicals is a certified organic herb farm and apothecary rooted in the rolling hills of Central Vermont, the unceded ancestral territory of the Abenaki People. Founded in 2018, we cultivate dozens of varieties of medicinal herbs and perennials utilizing regenerative organic practices on the land we gratefully steward. Our wellness products are handcrafted in house with plants sourced from our farm, half of which is situated on a quintessential Vermont hillside and the other in the valley below. Each formula has been developed by our co-founder and Clinical Herbalist, Sarah Shaw. Combining traditional knowledge and modern science, great care is taken to ensure the purity, potency, and integrity of each herbal ingredient is honored and used with purpose. Since 2019, our farm has been proudly certified organic by Vermont Organic Farmers (VOF). In 2020, we also became Real Organic Certified and Bee Friendly Farming Certified. Read their story
