Our mission since the beginning, November 2006, was to get folks drinking real tea again. Our founders learned all about tea and drank lots of it, while working for a large tea company . The more they learned and the more they drank, the more they came to realize something: that there's a whole world of quality teas out there that simply weren't getting the attention they deserved, so teapigs was born! teapigs only sources real, whole tea leaves, whole herbs, berries, flowers and spices.....no dust in sight! While we are proud of our best in class, great tasting teas, (we've won awards), we are also proud of our pledge to our environment and sustainability. We appreciate the source of our tea and aim to give back to our communities and partners! We were the first tea company to be awarded the plastic free trust mark and support the Ethical Tea Partnership and Rainforest Alliance, and while we have always been NonGmo, we are now certified.
